Description
Plot Summary
The film script was created by Australian novelist Julia Leigh, and this is also her directorial debut. This work was nominated for the main competition section of the 64th Cannes Film Festival, but ultimately failed to achieve some honors as expected. The film tells a fairy tale story that happened to a modern female college student. Lucy (played by Emily Browning) is a simple female college student during the day, but at night she has another identity - "Sleeping Beauty". This special job made her fall asleep in a strange room, and when she woke up, she couldn't remember anything at all, as if nothing had happened. In her dream, she found herself in a mysterious world full of fantasy, where beauty and desire abound. Lucy is deeply lost in confusion, gradually questioning the bizarre experiences that happen every night. She is eager to know what happened while she was asleep and how she will find herself again
