Description
Plot Summary
In 2008, Republican candidate McCain (played by Ed Harris) competed with Democratic candidate Obama for the 44th President of the United States. McCain, who was at a disadvantage in the election, followed the advice of his senior campaign staff (played by Woody Harrelson) and other aides, and decided to select a woman as his vice presidential candidate to increase his competitiveness. After a screening process, Alaska Governor Sarah Palin (played by Julianne Moore) was successfully selected. However, after being selected, Palin frequently surprised the campaign team in both her behavior and knowledge. Although Palin's performance has improved after multiple special trainings and even helped the campaign team achieve some impressive results, can her joining turn the tide and change the fate of McCain's team? This film is adapted from the book of the same name released in 2010 and directed by Jay Roach, the director of "Ballot Storm," which recreated the 2000 US election in 2008.
