Description
Plot Summary
Ellison Oswalt (played by Ethan Hawke) is a somewhat famous crime novelist from over a decade ago. In search of creative inspiration, he repeatedly moves into haunted houses where murders have occurred. To this day, in order to recreate the glory of the past, he once again moved into a haunted house with his wife Tracy (played by Juliet Rylance) and their children Trevor (played by Michael Hall D'Addario) and Ashley (played by Clare Foley). While tidying up the attic, he accidentally discovered a family video tape that recorded the happy and joyful moments of the owner's family in front of the house, as well as the tragic scene of them hanging from a tree. In the following days, he watched the video tapes repeatedly, searching for clues of the criminals and tracing clues in every corner of the house. During this process, various strange events occurred one after another among the family members. Ellison finds it difficult to withdraw at this moment
