Description

Plot Summary

Several unemployed youths who committed crimes were sentenced to community service by the court, and they worked under the supervision of manager Harry (played by John Henshaw). Among them, a young man named Robbie (played by Paul Brannigan) had just learned about his girlfriend Leonie (played by Siobhan Reilly) giving birth, but was beaten up by her brothers. Afterwards, he was even more frustrated and rebuked by the injured and their families who had been violently injured by him. Looking at his son's angelic face, Robbie's usually fierce and cold gaze revealed infinite regret, and the idea of starting over quietly arose in his heart. Afterwards, Harry led Robbie and the others to visit a whiskey distillery. Robbie once again showed a thirst for knowledge, and his previously undiscovered keen sense of smell became an excellent tool for rebirth. In order to live a happy life, Robbie and his community service partners took action... This film won the Jury Prize at the 2012 Cannes Film Festival and the Audience Award for Best European Film at the 2012 San Sebastian International Film Festival.
