Plot Summary

Beverly and Violet (Meryl Streep) are an old couple, and now they rely on drinking and taking drugs to maintain their relationship. One morning, Beverly left the house and never came back. Violet had to call their three daughters, as well as her cousin and cousin's husband, to her home. The second daughter Ivy arrived, followed by the eldest daughter Barbara (played by Julia Roberts) and husband Bill (played by Ewan McGregor) who also traveled a long way with their 14-year-old daughter.
