Description
Plot Summary
Billy Target (played by Mark Wahlberg) is a highly respected New York police officer. However, in a pursuit of a murderer who resulted in the latter's death, the final verdict was secretly altered, and the perpetrator was designated as self-defense. Meanwhile, Tajit, who was hailed as a "hero" by the citizens, was forced to leave the police station. Seven years later, Target reappeared as a private detective, but the market was not booming and he was on the brink of bankruptcy. Mayor Horst ä tler (played by Russell Crowe) approached him and asked him to help find out the lover of his wife Catherine (played by Catherine Zeta Jones). However, after the incident was completed, Target gradually realized that it was not as simple as it seemed on the surface. Behind it were hidden political interests, financial transactions, and physical transactions that shrouded the shattered city of New York like a black screen, involving even his own wrongful case seven years ago
