Description
Plot Summary
Mr. Oldman (played by Geoffrey Rush), with a peculiar temperament, is an appreciation auctioneer at a top art auction house. Throughout his decades long career, he has almost never failed, and his greatest hobby is collecting portraits of women from various periods. Billy (played by Donald Sutherland) helps him to buy his favorite paintings at a low price, while the young man Robert (played by Jim Sturgess) assists him in using technical means to verify the authenticity of antiques. Until one day, a mysterious female customer named Claire (played by Sylvia Hoeks) entered his life with a large amount of antique heritage. Claire claimed to suffer from agoraphobia and therefore never appeared, but this special way of communication gradually fascinated Oldman, who even sought help from Robert's methods of pursuing women. Finally, one day Odman gave up his original life, but a shocking conspiracy was quietly waiting for him.
