Plot Summary

The story begins in the eleventh year of the Zhenguan reign, when Ruyi (played by Fan Bingbing) participates in the election of the Tang Dynasty's imperial harem and shocks the four people with a piece called "The Song of King Lanling Entering the Formation", attracting the attention of Emperor Taizong of Tang, Li Shimin (played by Zhang Fengyi). However, Ru Yu, who was proud of her spring breeze, was brutally murdered by a villain and was sent to the cold palace before she could even accept her favor.
