Plot Summary

In the first installment of the film series "The Mechanic," the top assassin Arthur (played by Jason Statham), who pretends to be dead, washes his hands and lives a peaceful life as an ordinary person. In a seemingly unexpected event, Arthur's confidante Mei (played by Yang Ziqiong) requests Arthur to rescue the mysterious woman Gina (played by Jessica Alba) who has been repeatedly poisoned. Unexpectedly, Arthur, who has always been immune to love, falls in love with Gina, and his peaceful life is also disrupted as a result. After five years of living a peaceful life away from right and wrong, Arthur thought he had bid farewell to his past career as a killer. However, fate was hard to match, and someone secretly set their sights on him. The mystery of Arthur's identity also surfaced. Originally, when he was young, he and a group of children were captured by an arms dealer and trained to play with guns and kill.
