Plot Summary

Zhang Zaishan (played by Andy Lau) is a senior inspector in the Explosive Ordnance Disposal Division of the Hong Kong Police Force. Seven years ago, he infiltrated the criminal gang of the most wanted criminal, Huo Huo (played by Jiang Wu). During a robbery of a vault, Zhang Zaishan revealed his identity as an undercover bomb disposal team and cooperated with the police to successfully prevent the bomb from detonating. He also wiped out Huo Huo and his brother's criminal organization. Unfortunately, in a critical moment, Huo Huo escaped and vowed to seek revenge. After being reinstated, Zhang Zaishan was quickly promoted to the position of bomb disposal expert in the police force. Seven years later, Hong Kong was hit by a series of bomb terrorist attacks, and the police received intelligence that a large number of explosives had been smuggled into Hong Kong.
