Plot Summary

In times of war, various warlords emerged together. The Pei Kingdom, which was divided into different regions, was content with the status quo, while the former ruler Pei Liang (played by Zheng Kai) sang the song of peace. In the early years, the border state of Yaochong was borrowed from the neighboring country of Yan, but now it has been occupied but not returned. Pei State Governor Ziyu (played by Deng Chao) went to attack, but was hit by the enemy's general Yang Cang (played by Hu Jun) and suffered serious injuries that did not heal. The resentful Ziyu secretly sent a stunt double, Jingzhou (played by Deng Chao), to pretend to be himself, serving as the prime minister of military and political affairs, while his wife Xiao Ai (played by Sun Li) was sent to assist.
