Plot Summary

Chen Nian (played by Zhou Dongyu) is a high school senior who is about to take the college entrance examination. The suicide of her classmate Hu Xiaodie (played by Zhang Yifan) by jumping off a building has put her life in a difficult situation. After Hu Xiaodie's death, Chen Nian was bullied by a trio led by Wei Lai (played by Zhou Ye). Although Wei Lai appeared to be a well behaved top student on the surface, in reality, she had a vicious mind. Hu Xiaodie's death was closely related to her. By chance, Chen Nian met a small gangster named Xiao Bei (Yiyang Qianxi). As time went by, sincere feelings developed between the two people who cherish each other. Xiaobei promised Chen Nian to secretly protect her from Wei Lai's bullying, but unexpectedly this decision triggered a series of chain reactions. The police officer Zheng Yi (played by Yin Fang) responsible for investigating the cause of Hu Xiaodie's death vaguely sensed the strange atmosphere on campus, but his investigation was repeatedly obstructed by the school.
