Plot Summary
Tilda Swinton's secret lead role in a new film has been revealed: she filmed a ghost story film called "The Eternal Daughter" in Wales during the pandemic, and worked with director Joanna Hogg again after "Souvenir". A24 has recently acquired the global copyright of the film and has entered the post production stage. It tells the story of a middle-aged woman and her elderly mother returning to their former home - an old mansion that has now become an empty hotel, full of mystery. The mother and daughter will have to face some long buried secrets. The cast of the film also includes Joseph Medell, Carly Davis, and Alfie Sankey Green, produced by Element Pictures (Beloved, Room) and JWH Films (Souvenir), with BBC Pictures joining and Martin Scorsese serving as executive producer.
