Description
Plot Summary
An old lady named Zhou Jin (played by Ge Zhaomei) who lives alone in a rural area by the canal is suddenly diagnosed with a brain tumor, and her children who are floating in other places have to return to their hometown to take care of them. The eldest daughter Su Nianzhen (played by Liu Dan) runs a study abroad consulting agency in Shanghai and is going through her second divorce. She insists on providing her mother with the best treatment possible; The youngest son Su Nianqing (played by Wu Zhoukai) is a wandering tour guide who supports his mother in letting go and accepting impermanence. In the face of death, Zhou Jin searches for a spiritual home, while Su Nianzhen and Su Nianqing constantly discover their mother's secrets while losing their final connection with their hometown.
