Description
Plot Summary
Dwight, the winner of the "Fabius Award" at the 66th Cannes Film Festival, is a homeless man who spends his days doing nothing. His parents were killed by a man named Wade Crieland many years ago. When Dwight learned of Wade's release from prison, his revenge began. However, everything did not go as planned, and he had to consider how to protect his sister from Wade's harm. It is a flavorful little film with a Cohen like control over atmosphere and camera, as well as Quentin style surprise, but it has not yet reached their level. This somewhat bloody revenge story may be eye-catching, but it can also be somewhat dull in the end. The shallow and small-scale plot cannot sustain the excellent visual style and deep emotional tone of the movie.
