Plot Summary

Single mother Diane (played by Anne Dorval) is carefree, smoking, drinking, and using foul language, with an indomitable heart. She raised her son Steve (Antoine Olivier Pilon), who suffers from ADHD and often engages in violent behavior, alone, and her mother son relationship was on the brink of explosion. Diane is worried that Steve will cause trouble, and Steve urgently wants to express his love for his mother. New neighbor Keira (played by Suzanne Cl é ment) appears at the right time, and this high school female teacher with aphasia acts as a buffer valve for the mother and son, allowing all three to see balance and hope.
