Description
Plot Summary
Jack (Jeff Bridges), the best actor (nominated), best supporting actress (nominated), best original screenplay (nominated), and best supporting role of the 64th Academy Awards, was once a radio host. In an accident, his inappropriate words led to a man named Edwin (Christian Clemenson)'s mental collapse and shooting, which led to the tragic consequences of many casualties. Jack, who was full of guilt and pain, was unable to extricate himself from the low ebb of life. Jack meets a homeless man named Parry (played by Robin Williams), and to his surprise, he causes Parry's madness himself. Originally, Parry was a wealthy and versatile professor, and his wife was the victim of Edwin's gun. Parry couldn't bear the pain of losing his wife and went crazy. In order to make up for his mistake, Jack decided to help Parry. In the end, Jack not only matched Parry with his female secretary Lydia (played by Amanda Plummer), but also successfully restored Parry's sanity.
