Description
Plot Summary
The film is adapted from Jason Robert Brown's 2002 musical of the same name. The male protagonist Jamie (played by Jeremy Jordan from "Fame") meets the female protagonist Casey (played by Kendrick). At that time, he was a novice writer and she was a promising actress. The two fall in love, enter the marriage hall, and spend a happy time together. Subsequently, Jamie's first book was a great success, and his writing career flourished thereafter; But Casey has been silently performing in a small theater in Ohio, never waiting for the opportunity to become famous. Their once happy marriage also ran aground as a result, falling in love for five years and ending tragically.
