Plot Summary

Weather reporter Susan (played by Nicole Kidman) became the focus of media attention for her alleged murder of her husband, and interviews with several parties gradually revealed the process of the incident... Susan, who aspired to pursue a career in journalism, disregarded the opposition of her husband Larry's (played by Matt Dillon) Italian family and made every effort to prepare for the industry. Eventually, she was hired by a local cable television station with only two staff members as the "Weather Girl". Susan's high enthusiasm for work was not discouraged by the negative environment. She constantly proposed work plans and began to delve into the school's youth interview series. Through this, she met three rebellious young people, including James (played by Joaquin Phoenix), who was deeply infatuated with Susan. When Susan realized that her husband was becoming an obstacle to her career, she used James to shoot Larry. Susan considered herself the ultimate winner, but the situation suddenly took a sharp turn for the worse.
